Carolyn is from Cattrick Fergus, County Antrim.

She is an outstanding mezzo soprano, with a voice of real beauty and a presence on stage to match.

She has come into singing after being a very successful art teacher, and she brings an artistic sensibility to all she does.

Carolyn is currently working towards her Master of Opera at RSAMD under her teacher, Patricia MacMahon.

She already has a vast range of operatic experience - Maddalena in Rigoletto, Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro,and Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor

In 2005, she appears as Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte, directed by Sir Thomas Allen at the new Sage Theatre in  Gateshead
